100% Pure Foundation & Concealer Review
If you’re trying to greenify your beauty routine, I highly recommend giving 100% Pure a try. It actually look me awhile to really dig into this brand, but once I did, they became an instant fave of mine. Their ingredients are super clean and true to their “pure” name and their products are highly pigmented, especially the items I’m reviewing today. I wanted to share with you a couple foundations and a concealer from their line that I’ve been using lately because the formulas and coverage are ace! I do wanna say though, that the shade I’m using across the board, Peach Bisque, is a teensy bit orange-y for my skin (makin’ it work, though). I’m still trying to figure out my perfect shade (it’s always hard to gauge that online), but Imma nail that down soon. If you have a 100% Pure store in your town, def swatch these on your skin so you get a perfect match.

Super Fruits Healthy Foundation, $45 – This is a rich and creamy, buildable foundation (layer for full coverage) that provides a flawless looking face without feeling heavy or “made up.” It has a cream to matte powder finish (makes skin feel velvety soft), and a little bit goes a long way. Btw, I dot this all over my face and blend it in using a foundation brush (technique is always helpful to know, right?). It’s made with with super fruits, vitamins, and natural SPF – sometimes I’m too lazy to apply SPF so having this all-in-one dealio is perfect for my lifestyle. 😉

Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer, $25 – I have to be honest, I was a little be wary about the type of coverage this all-natural concealer would have (my freckles are already out of control and it’s not even summer yet! …I know, embrace the frecks, right?), but I was more than pleasantly surprised. It’s very pigmented and provides full coverage like no joke. The best part is that 100% Pure pigments their cosmetics with fruits and veggies! I don’t know how they do it. It’s like voodoo magic, and I love it! The consistency and coverage are perfect. This concealer is made with caffeine-rich green tea, green coffee, potent anti-aging vitamins, antioxidants, nourishing rosehip oil, and zero funky ingredients like chemical preservatives, parabens, artificial this and thats, nothin’!

Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder, $36 – I know this is a powder foundation but I’ve been using it to sort of set my liquid foundation, lol. It’s chill though because it’s super lightweight and feels barely there on the skin. It provides medium coverage with a matte finish, and I love that it’s chock full of anti-aging vitamins, antioxidants and healthy ingredients like eucalyptus, calendula, chamomile and rose, oil absorbing rice powder (yep, this baby is talc-free), and of course fruit & veggie pigments.
